The only feature really worth hiking at the Killington the week before Rails 2 Riches was the down rail so we spent most of our day there. Some more park edits and teaser shots from this year’s movie will be showing up on the site soon.

Uconn Urban
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009After spending three hours at night building and shaping lips so that the snow would freeze, the uconn crew got together a few days before final exams to enjoy the first snowfall on campus. We spent a few hours getting a bunch of shots on a fun electrical box jib that Abo destroyed with his board. Then we took it into the night with a nice 16ft single barrrel with a small gap to another 16ft. Everyone made the best of it despite several weeds on the inrun that occasionally tripped us up. It was good to get the first few shots of the Uconn urban segment in the bag cause CT has a pretty limited winter to hit rails. For more photos click HERE.

Colorado Ski Shop Rail Jam
Friday, December 18th, 2009Winter is in full swing, but before it hit we had to truck in snow from ice rinks. On December 5th Colorado Ski Shop teamed up with Ski Sundown and West Springfield’s Parks and Rec to put together one of the biggest early season rail jams. Several reps were on hand with tons of product giveaways and displays while the locals gathered to watch over 60 skiers and riders compete on an extensive arrangement of rails. Line riders Will Wesson and Ian Compton were on hand to help judge the finals. Big thanks to Hussein and Brian for putting together an awesome and successful event.
Seven Pair/Meathead Films Movie Premiere
Tuesday, December 8th, 2009Last Friday we held a dual movie premiere with Meathead films. We showed our film, “To and From,” and the Meatheads showed “Wild Stallions.” With over 200 people coming to view the films, it was a huge success. Thanks to Tom Zelek and Eric Brandolini at GHS and Rogge at Meatheads. Check out the pictures from the night below.

Rail Jam at Colorado Ski Shop 12/5

We are going to be at Colorado Ski Shop in West Springfield, MA this Saturday, December 5th for their First Annual Rail Jam. The competition starts at 11AM and runs til 3PM. Eric Leone, Will Harris, Sam Putnam, Jake Glass, and other Seven Pair athletes will be competing. Come by and check out the jam, and don’t forget to stop by Colorado Ski Shop and check out their massive gear selection.
The jam will be held at Cook’s Park on Morton Street in West Springfield, MA.

To and From Movie Premiere!
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009We will be having a DUAL MOVIE PREMIERE with Meathead Films this Friday, December 4th at Glastonbury High School. Doors open at 6pm. Our movie, “To and From,” will be premiering at 7pm, with the Meatheads, “Wild Stallions,” showing after. There will be raffles and tons of free schwag to give away. Cost of admission is $1 to or a non-perishable food item.
